How to lock transactions dated before a certain date

Change the company settings to lock transactions dated before a certain date in Sage 50 Accounting.

1. Log into company under sysadmin, single-user mode.
2. Click View, Close all other Sage 50 Windows.
3. Click Setup, Settings, Company, System.
4. Select the Do not allow transactions dated before checkbox.
5. Enter the date that you don't wish to have transactions dated before.
6. Click OK.
