Summary
Change the income settings in payroll to stop or start calculating vacation on overtime pay or statutory holidays in Sage 50 Accounting.
Resolution
- Go to File, Switch to Single-user mode if you haven't done so already.
- Go to Setup, Settings, Payroll, then Income.
- Select the Overtime income or the Statutory income.
- Find the Calc Vac. column and check or uncheck that column, as appropriate.
- Click OK.
- Create a paycheque and verify the vacation hours/amounts are correct for the overtime or statutory holiday.
NOTE: All provinces except Alberta and Manitoba require vacation calculation on overtime pay for regular earnings.
