Summary
I can't roll the year forward. The Start New Year option is greyed out on the Home screen.
Resolution
One or more windows are open
- Select View, then Close All Other Sage 50 Windows.
- Verify that the option is available.
In Multi-user Mode (Premium or up)
- From the Home window, select File, then Switch to Single-user Mode.
- Verify that the option is available.
Not logged in as the sysadmin user
- Close Sage 50.
- Login as the sysadmin user.
- Verify that the option is available.
The company is in history mode
- Create a backup.
- Exit history mode.
- Verify that the option is available.
The file is an Accountant's Copy

- Contact your client and request to create a normal backup instead of an Accountant’s Copy?
