Microsoft Print to PDF isn't appearing in the list of printers

Summary

Troubleshooting and restoring the Microsoft Print to PDF feature when it's not working or visible in the list of printers in Sage 50 Accounting.

Resolution

  1. Close Sage 50.
  2. Go to Windows Start and type Control Panel.
  3. Open the Control Panel and select Programs and Features.
  4. In the Programs and Features window, click Turn Windows features on or off at the top left.
  5. Scroll down to Microsoft Print to PDF. Check the box to enable it and click OK
    • If there's already a checkmark in the Microsoft Print to PDF box, remove the checkmark and click OK.
    • Reopen the Windows Features dialog and enable Microsoft Print to PDF checkbox and click OK.
  6. Restart the computer if prompted.
  7. Open Sage 50 and see if the Microsoft Print to PDF option shows correctly on the list of printers.
