Where are the automatic backups located?

How to locate the Sage 50 Accounting automatic backup files saved on your computer.

Go to Setup, then Settings.
Select Company, then Backup.
Under the Scheduled Backup section, note the path location next to Create local backup.
- the location defaults to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\backups\year\companyname
- If the field is blank, there are no automatic backups
Go to your File Explorer and follow the path indicated to locate your backup files.
