How do I determine if the file is on the local drive or the network?

How to tell if the Sage 50 Accounting data file is on a server or the local machine.

• Open File Explorer or type explorer.exe in the command prompt

• Locate your SAI in File Explorer and right-click on it and go to Properties

• On the General tab, see the Location: section

• C:\ indicates that the file is local
• Mapped drive icons with backslashes "\\" are usually network locations
