Description
We are pleased to inform you that a workaround is now available, allowing you to access Sage 50 without needing to contact support for this issue. If you have already contacted support and successfully connected your companies, there is no need to install this workaround.
Resolution
Install this workaround on all computers that have Sage 50 installed excluding server-only installs
- Ensure Sage 50 2025.1 is installed on your computer.
- Close Sage 50 on this computer.
- Download Sage50CA_2025.1_Update.exe.
- Right-click on the Sage50CA_2025.1_Update.exe file and choose Run as Administrator.
- Choose your preferred language and select OK.
- After the workaround file is installed, open Sage 50.
- Close the Sage Account sign in window or the error connecting to server error if prompted.
- Follow the steps to apply again if you are unable to log in or exit out of the messages successfully.
- Contact Sage Support at 1-888-522-2722 if you are still unable to open.
NOTE: You will still need to log in with your Sage Account if using Remote Data Access.
