How to resolve the error: "Server is busy. Try again later" when opening a company shared with Remote Data Access in Sage 50 Accounting.
Restart the computer
Reboot the computer and try re-opening the file.
Restart the Connection Manager
Restart the Sage 50 Connection manager on the server or computer that hosts the Sage 50 data.
- Close all Sage 50 company files.
- Open the Connection Manager from either the start menu or the system tray.
- Choose Stop Service.

- After the service stops, click Start Service.
- Re-open Sage 50.
Re-download the company from Remote Data Access
- Close and re-open Sage 50.
- Choose the option to Connect to a shared company.
- If you use the Accountant Edition and the Select Company window doesn’t appear, open C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simply Accounting\20xx\Samdata\Enterprise\Universl.SAI
- Double-click Universl.SAI to open the sample company
- Go to File, Connect to a Shared Company
- Download and save the new file on C:\\Sage.
Restore from backup
- Restore from the most recent backup.
- Reshare the company file.
