How to see if a company file is in History mode

Some functions in Sage 50 are only available in history mode.

Look between Help and Reports on the main screen. If there’s a History menu, the file is in History mode.
Chart of accounts - Option to add Opening Balances to accounts.
Customers/Vendors - Historical Transactions tab is available in the Record.
Employees & Payroll - Option to enter Historical Amounts in the Taxes tab.
Inventory & Services - Option to add Opening Quantity and Value in the History tab (not possible if the Inventory Costing Method is FIFO).
Orange circles with three dots and an arrow appear over modules.
