Error: "The file path\*.sfm is a Sage 50 Form template file. You cannot overwrite a Sage 50 Form template" when I am trying to save a customized form.

This error comes up when you try to Save over a template.

1. If you still have the error message box, then click OK.
2. Click on File, Save As.
3. An explorer pop-up window appears.
4. In it, Sage 50 will default to the location of Sage 50 premade default forms.
5. This location will be overwritten when there is a product update for Sage 50, erasing your customize form, therefore Sage does not recommend saving custom forms into the default forms location.
6. Instead, please browse to another location (such as My Documents).
7. Enter a new File Name.
8. Click Save.
9. Click OK.
10. Click OK.
