Resolution

Create a Group Analysis for your Sales Rep

  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Select Analysis Types
  3. Click on the Group Analysis tab
  4. Change the description of a group if needed
    • EXAMPLE: Create a Client-Sales Rep Group  
  5. Within the group, rename the categories, one for each Sales Rep, and add as many categories as needed.
  6. Make sure the group is available to the desired area
    • EXAMPLE: Contacts - Customers  
  7. Once you activate the contact area, you will be able to assign the analysis category to a contact.

Assign the Sales Rep category to the Customers

  1. Go to Contacts
  2. Click on the selected Customers
  3. Click on the Options tab
  4. Under Analysis Types click on the pencil to edit
  5. The analysis groups that were enabled for contacts are then visible
  6. Select a Group Category, in this case, a specific Sales Rep to assign to that customer in the dropdown.
  7. Select Save

Filter the information in the following reports :

  • Accounts Receivable (A/R Aging Report)
  • Accounts Payable (A/P Aging Report)
  • Profit Analysis
  • Sales Day Book
  • Purchases Day Book
  1. From each report, click on More
  2. Select the Analysis Type Group
  3. Select the Analysis category assigned to the sales rep
  4. All the transactions linked to customers assigned to a particular sales rep will then appear in the list.
