How Do I Export a Detailed List of Transactions Associated with My Tax Return?

Summary

I generated a GST/HST, QST, or PST return in Sage Accounting. I see the totals for each section of the return; however, I need a breakdown of the individual transactions that make up these totals.

Resolution

To access a detailed view of the tax return:

  • Click Reporting > Tax Returns
  • Click the tax return
  • Locate the Export menu to the right of the page
  • Under Export, select Detailed Report
  • Select either CSV or PDF depending on your preferred format

This will produce a detailed breakdown of your tax return available for you to download from the file tray at the top of the screen. This breakdown includes the transaction id, date, type, number, name, reference, rate, and amount.
