Minimum requirements

CAUTION:

The requirements below are guidelines for Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (CRE) software. It's important to consider any other software running on the same server or workstation. We recommend discussing your specific requirements with a Sage-certified consultant, considering your network setup and business process needs.

Server

  • Processor: Multi-core processor with 4+ cores, 2.0 GHz or faster
  • Memory (RAM): 8 GB
  • Storage: Hard Disk Drive (HDD) or Solid-State Drive (SSD), preferably
  • Network: High-speed network connection (preferably gigabit Ethernet)
  • Operating System:
    • Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025
    • Windows Active Directory domain required if using Sage SQL Replicator
  • Database Engine: Zen Enterprise Server 15.21.6.0 and patch (24.2 and later)
  • .NET Framework: .NET Framework 4.6.2 or later, .NET Framework 3.5
    • Sage Paperless Construction: .NET Framework 4.8
  • MS SQL: Required if using Sage SQL Replicator or Sage Paperless Construction
  • Internet: Required for licensing and registration

Workstation client

  • Processor: Multi-core processor, 2.0 GHz or faster
  • Memory (RAM): 4+ GB
  • Storage: Hard Disk Drive (HDD) or Solid-State Drive (SSD), preferably SSD
  • Network: High-speed network connection (preferably gigabit Ethernet)
  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) (we don't support Home editions)
  • Database Engine: Zen Client 15.21.6.0 and patch (24.2 and later)
  • .NET Framework: .NET Framework 4.6.2 or later, .NET Framework 3.5
    • Sage Paperless Construction: .NET Framework 4.8
  • Monitor: 1024 pixels by 768 pixels up to 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels, Full HD (avoid 2K resolution monitors)
  • Printer: Printer with Microsoft-certified printer driver
  • Internet: Required for licensing and registration
  • Browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari
  • Other Software: Microsoft Office 2021 or newer (32-bit version only); Microsoft 365 (32-bit version only)

    • Windows Active Directory Services (AD DS): Required if using Sage SQL Replicator
  • Database Engine: Zen Enterprise Server 15.21.6.0 and patch (24.2 and later)

Compatibility issues

We don't support 64-bit versions of Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365.

Sage 300 CRE version 26.1 uses SAP Crystal Reports runtime SP38 (64-bit). This can cause issues with older Crystal Reports runtime versions that other products use.

You can't install Sage 300 CRE, Sage 50, and Sage 300 software on the same computer. They're different products that use incompatible versions of Pervasive/Actian. If you need to run these products concurrently, contact your Sage Consultant for guidance.
