How to split a bank statement line to multiple accounts
Description

You can split a single bank statement line across multiple ledger accounts before creating a transaction using Bank Feeds or importing a statement. For example, if a credit card payment at a gas station includes fuel and food, you can split that one transaction into separate ledger accounts.

If you use analysis types, select different analysis categories for departments, cost centers, or projects. Specify different tax rates if required.

  • You can split other payment or receipt transactions, but not Payment on Account transactions
  • You can’t split transactions across different customers or vendors
