I just purchased Microsoft 365 from Sage

Verify your purchase

  1. The sender of the email is Sage Solutions Admin. The sender email address is [email protected].
    • If you haven’t received this onboarding email, contact Sage 50 support
  2. Select the Review Agreement button within the Onboarding email.
  3. Select I agree to the Microsoft Cloud Agreement and click Confirm.
  4. Once confirmed, you'll see a verification message that you have successfully accepted the Microsoft Cloud Agreement.
     NOTE: It can take up to 48 hours to receive the Get Started email. 
  5. When you receive the final email, click the Get Started button.
  6. If you get an error message that a problem occurred, review "A problem occurred while processing your request".

Accept Microsoft 365 Agreement

  1. On the Enter Password page, enter the Administrator Account and Temporary password.
  2. Click the Sign in button.
  3. The next window will be labelled Agreements and Permissions.
  4. Click the Accept button at the bottom right.
  5. Click the Finish button.
  6. The next window is the Sage Business Centre. In the lower right is an option to Bookmark this page.
  7. Click Go to the Microsoft 365 admin centre.

OneDrive interface

  1. Once on the Microsoft 365 Admin centre window, close the Welcome to Microsoft 365 admin centre pop-up.
  2. Click the Microsoft 365 header in the top left, select the OneDrive icon or tile.
  3. You'll get a window that states that OneDrive is getting prepared, The OneDrive interface will show as ready. 
  4. To set up the Cloud backup, follow the steps to make a cloud backup.
  5. If you need to add more users and license them, follow the steps to create new users in Microsoft 365.

I purchased Microsoft 365 through a 3rd party company

To use the cloud backups feature in Sage 50, you'll need:

  • A Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription or
  • Enterprise E1, E3, or E5 subscription 

Verify your Microsoft 365 subscription

  1. Go to Sage Business Centre.
  2. Select to Give Permission if prompted.
  3. Log in with a Global Administrator user ID and password.
  4. The Offering ID utility will return which Microsoft Subscriptions you own.
