Why I could not find the departments option on the settings for my company
Description
Cause
  • Company is created in Pro version format
Resolution

Note: Departments are only available in Premium and Quantum only

  1. Go to File, Properties and check the Product
  2. If it shows Sage 50 Pro
    1. Go to Accountant Edition menu
    2. Select Upgrade Company
    3. Select the version you are upgrading to (eg. Sage 50 premium Accounting) and click Next
    4. Click Backup if needed or click the Next button
    5. Click Finish
  4. Verify if you can set up department now.
