Description
Cause

You don't have Crystal Reports reporting components (Runtime Engine) installed on the local machine or you need to reinstall it.

Resolution

This process requires a computer restart.

Uninstall Crystal Runtime

  1. Launch the Windows Control Panel.
  2. Uninstall the Crystal runtime for your version.
    • Versions 25.2 and earlier: SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework (32-bit)
    • Versions 26.1 and later: SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework (64-bit)

Reinstall Crystal Runtime

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Browse to the \\servername\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting\WinInst\Prerequisites\Crystal Runtime Engine (x86) folder.
  3. Double-click the MSI file for your version to install the Crystal Reports Runtime Engine.
    • Versions 25.2 and earlier: CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_8.msi
    • Versions 26.1 and later: CR13SP38MSI64_0-80007712.msi
  4. If the installation fails, copy the CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_8.msi file to the local computer and run.

Reinstall PostCrystalUFLInstall

  1. Then browse to ..\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting\WinInst\Prerequisites\Post Crystal UFL Install.
  2. Right-click PostCrystalUFLInstall.exe and choose Run as Administrator to complete the Crystal components installation.
