| Resolution | NOTE: Upgrade to a higher payroll tier if the number of employees is above your limit. Contact Customer Sales at 1-888-261-9610. Verify that you have the latest version of Sage 50 - You must have the latest version of Sage 50 installed before going through these steps
- Go to Help, Upgrade Your Sage 50 Product, and click OK
Error occurs when creating a paycheque - Count your active employees by selecting Payroll, Employees, View Employees.
- Click the Reports menu.
- Click Employee List.
- Deselect Include inactive employees.
- The employee count appears at the end of the report.
- Verify that the number of employees is below the number specified on your payroll plan.
- If the number is above your limit, deactivate or terminate employees who no longer work for you.
- If the number is above your limit but all employees listed are active, contact Customer Sales at 1-888-261-9610.
Error occurs when creating an employee - Go to Help, Update Service Plan.
- Verify your Account ID is correct.
- Select Check service plan.
- Click OK on the message and click Done.
Error occurs when printing T4s - Click the red X on the top right of the window or OK to bypass the error.
- Continue to print the T4's.
