The user doesn't have permission to perform a fiscal year-end close
The General Ledger integration setting is off
Resolution
There are two options:
Grant the user the permission to perform a fiscal year-end
Click Utilities, System Manager, and User Details.
Select the user ID to modify.
Click the Access tab.
Click Utilities.
Set Year-end close to Yes.
Click Save.
Log out and sign back in.
Verify that the Year-End option is available.
CAUTION:
Don't click the checkbox. Click the plus sign, minus sign, or the menu name instead.
Verify that General Ledger integration is ON
Use these steps if the user has permission and the Year-End option remains unavailable.
Click Utilities, System Manager, and System Setup.
Select General Ledger, and then G/L Setup.
Verify that Integrated contains a check mark.
CAUTION:
Keep integration ON all the time unless you intentionally disable it. When integration is OFF, Sage BusinessVision doesn't post subledger transactions to General Ledger.
