Solution 1:

  1. Select Help, then About Sage 50 [Product] Edition.
  2. Observe (Release 20xx.x).
  3. Click on the Support Info button. 
  4. Look at the Payroll Taxes Effective: date.

Solution 2:

  1. Select File, then Properties.
  2. On the Version line, look at the Release version.
