CAUTION:

Don’t change any other File Locations settings. Review important considerations and warnings related to changing the paths.

Set the default File Location for Reports.

  1. Launch the Sage Desktop.
  2. Go to Common Tasks, File, Company Settings, File Locations.
  3. In the window that pops up, scroll down to the Reports field.
  4. Enter the correct file path for your Reports.
  5. Click OK.

We recommended you use a UNC (Universal Naming Convention) path rather than a mapped network drive. If there’s no path for the Reports in File Locations, Sage will automatically look in the default location for a report. You can find the default report folder in the \\ServerName\TIMBERLINE OFFICE\9.5\ACCOUNTING\Report path.

You can save individual reports to a specific location by saving the default path in the report in Report Designer.
