Manage, correct and reprint 1099 forms efficiently

 CAUTION: When reprinting or correcting forms from the previous tax years, contact Aatrix for older forms. 

 CAUTION: Log in the same Company Code that printed the original forms.  

▼ Two ways to access the 1099 HIstory

Option #1:

  1. Open Accounts Payable, Reports, Form 1099 eFiling and Reporting.
  2. Select New.
  3. Choose Form type (Misc, NEC, Dig, Int).
  4. Verify the Tax Year.
  5. Click Accept.
  6. If prompted, click Continue to confirm the warning message.

Option #2:

  1. Open Accounts Payable, Reports, then Form 1099 eFiling and Reporting.
  2. Select History from the dropdown.
  3. Click Accept.
  4. Check the applicable 1099 filing and click Edit.
▼ Reprint completed 1099s
  1. Select Reprint Completed 1099s in the History File Options dialog.
  2. Click Next.
  3. In Reprint Options, check each 1099 type to reprint. You can reprint multiple forms at onetime.
▼ eFile or Print Incomplete 1099s
  1. Select eFile or Print Incomplete 1099s in History File Options.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Choose a processing method.
  4. Select applicable state.
  5. Review the action list.
  6. View forms in FormsViewer.
▼ If the vendor receives two 1099s: one with correct EIN and one with incorrect EIN

Option A:

  1. Add amounts from the incorrect EIN vendor to the correct EIN vendor line.
  2. Delete incorrect EIN vendor line (right-click row number, select Delete).
  3.  NOTE: This way will send two corrected 1099s: one with combined amounts and correct EIN, one with zero dollars and incorrect EIN.
    The grid shows one less recipient, but the total 1099 count includes the deleted one

Option B:

  1. Change the EIN on the incorrect vendor and leave as is.
  2.  NOTE: This way will send only one corrected 1099 form. You can file multiple 1099s for the same EIN. 
▼ Correct Completed 1099s

Follow these steps to correct 1099s that had been eFiled or mailed:

  1. Click Correct Completed 1099s, then click Next.
  2. In W2/1099 Preparer, make changes. Changed cells show Blue text, row number in Green.
  3. To add a recipient, right-click the numbered column. Select Insert, choose the number of rows, and enter the info.
  4. To delete a recipient, right-click the row, then select Delete or zero out dollar amounts.
  5. Click Next Step.
  6. Verify FEIN, Name and Address, Tax Withheld, Filing State.
  7. Answer questions in the Correction Options dialog.
  8. Choose to print Divider sheets, and click Next.
  9. Click Print to review the Actions that will be taken, then click Next.
  10. Print and review all forms in FormsViewer, and click Next after each.
  11. To eFile corrections, complete the eFile wizard with credentials.
  12. Close 1099 Wizard when done.
