Log all users off the Sage BusinessVision program using Pervasive/ Actian Monitor
Description
  • We can't have all users logging in a Sage BusinessVision company eventhough we are entittled to have more users. 
  • Some usser get locked up on the server
  • How do I clear the users that got stuck in Pervasive/ Actian on the server?
  • How to check the numbers of users who are using Sage BusinessVision at the present time?
Cause
Resolution
Option I: To check if someone is stuck on Pervasive / Actian on the server:
  1. On the server, click StartAll Programs, Pervasive/ ActianUtilitiesMonitor.
  2. Click MicroKernelActive Users.
Each user will have an IP address. Sometimes there are more than one items that come from the same user. Pervasive/Actian will count the users with the same IP address as one.

If a user is not in Sage BusinessVision program, but the Monitor shows the user, you can delete that user.

Option II: To log off users from the BusinessVision data server:

  1. On the server, click Start, All Programs, Pervasive/ Actian, Utilities, Monitor.
  2. Click MicroKernel, Active Users.
  3. Click Delete Current User or Delete All Users, then click Yes to confirm.
