To add a company data set to the Company Selection list:

1. Launch the Sage BusinessVision program, and log in to any company on the Selection List. If you see ABC Electronics Components or YOUR COMPANY NAME HERE, login either one. The user ID is BUSINESS and the password is vision.
2. Click File, Company Selection.
3. Click Amend.
4. Click Open.
5. Browse to the data folder and select Bvcon.fil.  NOTE: If the data is on the network, you need to use a mapped drive.
6. Click Open, Add, then Close.

If you can't log into any company on the Company Selection list:

1. Close Sage BusinessVision program.
2. Open File Explorer, then open C:\BusinessVision folder.
3. If you see a folder named Data, rename it to Data1.
4. Rename C:\BusinessViIon\MULTICO.IDX file to C:\BusinessVision\MULTICO.IDXOLD.
5. Rename C:\BusinessVision\MULTICO.ISM file to C:\BusinessVision\MULTICO.ISMOLD.
6. Launch Sage BusinessVision, the program will automatically search for data files, click Abort immediately.
7. Click Yes to the Are you sure you wish to abort the directory search for Sage BusinessVision files? prompt.
8. Click Open on the No Company List window.
9. Browse to the data folder and select BVCON.FIL.  NOTE: If the data is on the network, you need to use a mapped drive. 
10. When you see the company name, click Add, then Close.

Log in to the company and confirm you've added the correct copy of the data.
