Apps and Features (Windows 10 and higher)

1. Right-click on the Windows Start, Apps and Features.
2. Find the Sage 50 version you’re trying to repair and click Modify.
3. After the Install shield wizard launches, click OK.
4. Select the Update/Reinstall Program radio button and click Next.
5. Click Restart Now.
6. Run Sage 50 after the restart.

You installed Sage 50 using a download link

1. Browse to C:\Sage\Sage 50 Accounting Installer Files - CDN Release 201X.X\Setup. Choose the version year of the software to repair.
2. Double-click Setup.exe inside the setup folder.
3. Select OK.
4. In the Maintenance Options window, select the Repair option, then select Next to begin the repair process.
5. Follow the prompts to complete the repair process, then select Finish.
6. A message may display advising to restart after the installation is complete.

Sages 50 original install used a disk

1. Insert the disk into the CD or DVD-ROM drive. The "Welcome to Sage 50 Accounting" startup screen displays.
2. Select Remove or Modify Sage 50 Accounting.
3. On the Sage 50 Accounting Maintenance screen, select the version year of Sage 50 in use.
4. Next, on the Setup Options screen, select the Repair option.
   • This procedure won’t affect company data
5. Select Next and the repair validation installation will begin.
6. Select Finish.
7. Close the initial Sage 50 Welcome screen.
8. If prompted to restart after the installation is complete, do so.
