Use one of the following options to rename the company file:

Create a copy of the company with a new name

1. Select File, then Save As.
2. Browse to the location where you want to save the file.
3. Enter a filename.
4. Select Save.

Rename the company without creating a copy

If your file isn’t open, follow steps 3 - 6.

1. Go to File, then Properties with the company open.
2. Make a note of the Location and Company file.
3. Make sure everyone is out of Sage 50.
4. Browse to location of company file.
5. Rename the SAI file and its corresponding SAJ folder.
6. Verify you’re able to open the company with the new name.
