Use the Microsoft Print to PDF option
Install Microsoft Print to PDF
- In the Windows search, type Turn Windows Features On or Off.
- Place a checkmark next to Microsoft Print to PDF.
- Restart your computer.
Set the PDF printer as the default in Sage 50 Accounting
- Go to Setup, Reports & Forms.
- Select an appropriate form from the list.

- Change the printer to Microsoft Print to PDF.
- Click OK.
Recall or create the invoice in question
- Click the Print button.
- A pop-up window will appear.
- Browse to a location where you want to save the PDF file (invoice).
- Enter a file name and click OK.
- Open your email client, and attach the file. Email as necessary.
Change your default printer back
- Go to Setup, Reports & Forms.
- Select your form type from the list.
- Change the printer back to your printer.
- Click OK.
Use AR Automation (formerly Sage Connect) for sending invoices
AR Automation allows you to provide your customers with access to their accounts receivable invoices and transaction data.
Use Sage HR for sending paycheques
Sage HR allows you to sync your employee records with Sage HR so employees can access and download their payslips.
