| How do I know if I'm using the latest version with the latest tax tables for payroll? |
Resolution | - Delete older versions of Sage 50 from your desktop to avoid opening the wrong one.
- Open a Sage 50 file.
- Go to Help, About Sage 50, and click Support Info.
- Check the date next to Payroll Taxes Effective:
- The date should be in the current year
- The government updates tax tables on January 1 and July 1 but exceptions may occur
- If the Payroll Taxes Effective date is in the past (for example, the current date is in November but the Payroll Taxes Effective date is January 1), install the latest version.
