How to modify existing users rights

Grant or restrict access permission to certain areas in Sage 50

  1. Log in as sysadmin and in single-user mode (applicable for multi-user products).
  2. Go to Setup.
  3. Select Set Up Users & Roles.
  4. Select the user and then click Modify User.
  5. Make appropriate changes.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart Sage 50 but this time in multi-user mode.

Grant or restrict specific users to specific view reports

  1. Log in as sysadmin and in single-user mode (applicable for multi-user products).
  2. Go to Setup.
  3. Select Set Up Users & Roles.
  4. Select the user and then click Modify User.
  5. Under Modify User, select Advance Reporting.
  6. Select either the Banking or Company tab.
  7. Select Full Access in the Rights column for each report the user needs access to.
  8. Select the report to restrict access by selecting No Access in the Rights column.
  9. Click OK, and then OK again.
  10. Select Close to save the settings.
  11. Restart Sage 50 but this time in multi-user mode.
  12. Verify if the user can access the report now.
