How can I record a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) transaction?

Note: You must have a service plan with EFT for PAD.

  1. In the customer record, go to the Pre-Authorized Debit tab, and click "This customer has a signed active preauthorized-debit agreement". Fill in the customer's banking information and click Save and Close.

  2. When creating a sales invoice, select Pre- Authorized Debit (PAD) from Payment Method:
    • Process the invoice as required
  1. Setup the EFT. See Sage 50 EFT Direct (Electronic Fund Transfer) integration setup
  2. Submit the generated .DAT file to your bank. Follow How do I generate a Pre-Authorized Deposit (PAD) EFT / CAFT data file?
