How to access an offline copy of a file that is shared with Remote Data Access

Resolution
Disconnect the computer from the internet (turn off the wifi or disconnect the Ethernet cable).
Open Sage 50.
Open the last company you worked
on
or
Select an existing company.
Open a file that is shared on RDA.
You’ll get a message that Sage 50 is unable to connect for Remote Data Access, There’s no internet connection.
Click
More options.
Click
Open in read-only
.
The file can’t be modified in Read-only mode and you can only lookup data.
If you need to print a new invoice, receipt or cheque in a rush, see
I need to post and print a transaction immediately, but Sage 50 only lets me in read-only mode.
If you need to have your data re-shared to replace the original cloud copy, contact Customer Support.
