Performance issues with files shared through Remote Data Access
Resolution
Factors that could have an affect on Remote Data Access Multi-user (and even Single User) performance:
For best performance the recommended internet upload/download speeds of at least 25mbps; minimum upload/download speeds of 10mbps
Ways the local network may be using data being sent/received (esp. streaming video, downloading large files, system updates being downloaded or in progress)
Demands on local network traffic (video surveillance cameras, data interchange for any program or automated processes)
Size of database and number of records/transactions for certain operations, such as reporting
Number of users logged in concurrently and throughput of data (how fast are people posting, how many people attempting to post, concurrency of posting attempts)
Network connections latency
Local PC environmental issue (amount of disk space, memory, CPU, router etc..)
