| | How to use the Database Utilities (Sage_SA_dbutil.exe) |
| Resolution | - Log in to your data file with the sysadmin username.
- Create a backup.
- Go to Setup, Set Up Users.
- If asked for a password, enter the sysadmin password.
- Select the sysadmin username and click Modify.
- Select Read/write access to Third-Party Products and click OK.
- Close the program.
- Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\(Sage 50 Version 202x)\.
- Locate and double-click on the executable file.
- Click the Browse button in this Database Utility tool.
- Browse to the folder where the.SAI file is located
- Select and click Open
- Ensure the file is local on your computer
 NOTE: If the file is on a server, copy it to the local computer to run the dbutil. Copy the file back to the server when complete. - Select all 3 checkboxes, then click OK to begin the repair of your database.
- The window will remain displayed until the process is complete
- A window will appear with a message stating that Your tasks are complete
- Click OK
 CAUTION: Don't use the Enter button on the keyboard, only use the mouse to click OK. - Press OK then close the window.
- Open your Sage 50 data file.
