| How to configure your Windows firewall for network connectivity |

Allowing Sage 50 - Include the following programs in the list by selecting the names in the Home/Work or Private/Public columns:
- Click Allow another program to get other processes added to the list.
Opening the inbound firewall ports on the host computer - Access the port firewall area in Windows.
- Select Port and click Next.
- Type in the port numbers for the Sage 50 Connection Manager and files.

- To verify what the range is:
- Open Explorer and browse to Windows C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Sage Software\ConnectionManager\
- Open ConnectionManager.ini in Notepad
- The line 'End Port=xxxxxx' is the end of the range
- Click Next.
- Select Allow the connection.
- Click Next.
- Put the checkmark for Domain and Private.
- Click Next.
- Type “Sage 50 Accounting ports” in the Name field.
- Click Finish to exit the wizard.
