Allowing Sage 50

  1. Include the following programs in the list by selecting the names in the Home/Work or Private/Public columns:
  2. Click Allow another program to get other processes added to the list.

Opening the inbound firewall ports on the host computer

  1. Access the port firewall area in Windows.
  2. Select Port and click Next.
  3. Type in the port numbers for the Sage 50 Connection Manager and files.
    • 13531, 13540-13545
    • To verify what the range is:
      • Open Explorer and browse to Windows C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Sage Software\ConnectionManager\
      • Open ConnectionManager.ini in Notepad
      • The line 'End Port=xxxxxx' is the end of the range
  4. Click Next.
  5. Select Allow the connection.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Put the checkmark for Domain and Private.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Type “Sage 50 Accounting ports” in the Name field.
  10. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
